Killington Resort’s 2023/2024 season opens this Friday for passholders and Saturday for all for Intermediate/advanced skiing on North Ridge.
Excitement Builds for the Opening Days of Killington Resort’s 2023/2024 season
As Killington Resort, known for the longest ski season in the East, gears up for its grand opening this Friday at 10:00 a.m., excitement is in the air with a Passholder Appreciation Day marking the start. From Saturday at 9:00 a.m., the general public can join in the winter thrills. This season, early birds hitting the slopes will be welcomed by the meticulously prepared North Ridge, with the snowmaking team focusing on the Rime and Reason trails. Following the opening day, the K-1 Express Gondola will operate daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., providing access to various terrains. However, guests should be ready for a bit of walking via the Peak Walkway to reach the North Ridge Area for skiing and snowboarding. It’s important to note that during these early weeks, the terrain is more suitable for intermediate and advanced enthusiasts as the resort gears up to open more beginner-friendly slopes as the season advances.
